Abstract

Menanggapi  permasalahan  yang  ada  dibidang  industri  serta  kemajuan teknologi  elektronika  dan komunikasi yang  semakin  pesat  sementara  dalam  dunia  telekomunikasi  itu sendiri  banyak  peningkatan jenis pesan dan komunikasi yang menggunakan GSM,  pada era globalisasi dan informasi pada zaman sekarang pengiriman dan penerimaan pesan lebih banyak ragamnya. Mulai dari pesan teks, gambar, data, audio dan video, dari perkembangan pesan dari berbagai regenerasi tersebut. Dalam skripsi ini hanya menggunakan pesan teks SMS untuk pengendalian Quadcopter dengan berbasis arduino uno R3. Pada umumnya Quadcopter dikendalikan dengan remote control atau dengan sensor tertentu, tapi rancangan Quadcopter yang dikendalikan menggunakan modul GSM dengan mode SMS teks untuk perintah kerja dan yang akan dibaca oleh Arduino Uno R3 yang akan dikonversi kedalam bahasa C oleh Arduino Uno R3 itu sendiri melalui library GSM.
